The one-off Zonda HP Barchetta by the Italian sports car manufacturer Pagani has topped the list of the most expensive cars on the planet several times. The thing is, powerful Zondas have always been tailor-made cars and, therefore, have set price records thanks to their unique design. This year, Pagani has also issued an exclusive hypercar with impressive features. The hand-built model is powered by a Mercedes-Benz V12 engine rated at 800 PS and a 6-speed manual gearbox. This luxurious car will cost its owner $17.5 million.

British splendor

The Rolls-Royce Sweptail coupe ranks second on the list of the priciest cars in the world. This car was created at the request of a wealthy client in 2013. It took creators more than four years to satisfy all the whims of the future owner before Sweptail saw its debut in 2017. The client wanted the car to have a vintage style of the 1930s combined with a design of a racing yacht. In addition, the model features the largest grille of any modern Rolls-Royce. This masterpiece of the automotive industry is estimated at $12.8 million.

Secret from France

La Voiture Noire by French luxury brand Bugatti is a one-of-a-kind model. The hypercar is a modern interpretation of the legendary Type 57 SC Atlantic that was designed by Jean Bugatti, son of the company’s founder. Reportedly, this fully hand-built model was sold for $11 million. Not so long ago, it was spotted near Bugatti’s factory driving on a public road. Most likely, they were testing the car before delivering it to its owner, so it got under the spotlight. However, the pictures of the interior design have never appeared on the Net.

French supercar for Ronaldo 

Another exclusive model by French car manufacturer Bugatti takes fourth place in our rating. The Bugatti Centodieci is a limited-edition sports car that was meant to celebrate Bugatti’s 110-year anniversary. Only 10 cars were produced with a price of $8 million each. Portugal’s football star Cristiano Ronaldo became the owner of one of these hypercars. The Bugatti Centodieci is equipped with an 8.0-liter W16 engine that is expected to produce a staggering 1,600 hp. The car is capable of accelerating to 380 km/h.

Diamond from Sweden 

Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg limited the production of the CCXR Trevita to just two units. The manufacturing of the unique diamond finish that was used for covering the exterior turned out to be a very complex and costly process. So, the company decided to end the production. However, customers may soon be able to rent the CCXR Trevita for just $24,000 a month. The diamond-coated hypercar with a 4.8-liter V8 engine of 1,018 hp can become yours for $5 million.
