Many admirers of Back to the Future dreamed of having trainers just like those which the film protagonist Marty McFly had. During the movie, the guy had been wearing Nike trainers which could lace up automatically. The futuristic pair of shoes was created for the film especially, this model wasn't on sale. A few years ago, the company produced a limited series of almost identical trainers, but they weren't able to lace up.

Thus, in March 2016 the brand announced that smart trainers were soon to be presented. Importantly, new Nike shoes are not the same as those which McFly had. However, they have an obvious advantage – the Nike Hyperadapt 1.0 laces which can tie up automatically.
